5,634 Donors Secured the Funds for 180 Days of Rehabilitation for Dzhani

5,634 donors stood behind 14-year-old Dzhani and raised €246,378.36 for 180 days of specialized rehabilitation following the serious accident near the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. The campaign reached 105% of its goal.

Just a few months ago, Dzhani's daily life was like that of any other 14-year-old boy - school, friends, plans, and dreams.

On April 24, 2026, everything changed.

A safety railing collapsed near the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, leaving Dzhani with serious injuries. Treatment and efforts to stabilize his condition followed.

Today, he is stable, but the consequences of the accident remain severe.

After Treatment Comes the Long Road to Recovery

Dzhani is unable to move or walk independently and has no control over his arms.

Following examinations and consultations, specialists recommended an intensive program involving robotic rehabilitation.

The plan includes 180 days of specialized rehabilitation, requiring €234,000.

5,634 Donors Secured the Necessary Funds

Thanks to the support of thousands of people, the funds needed for Dzhani's rehabilitation have now been raised in full.

This gives him the opportunity to complete the planned 180 days of specialized rehabilitation.

180 Days of Rehabilitation Lie Ahead

Dzhani now faces six months of specialized rehabilitation, constant exercises, and a great deal of work.

The program is intended to give him the opportunity to work toward regaining movement and achieving greater independence in his daily life.
