Stefan lives with spastic cerebral palsy. Born prematurely weighing a fragile 1,200 grams, his life was turned into a relentless cycle of surgeries, painful physical rehabilitation, and continuous therapies from his earliest days.

Today, both of his parents have passed away. Stefan lives entirely alone. In a moving video recorded for his fundraising campaign, he describes himself in two simple, painful words: "a lonely boy."

But this time, Stefan was not left to fight in the shadows.

A Battle Born in Early Childhood

"A struggle from day one"—that is how Stefan reflects on his life. Over the years, he has endured multiple tendon surgeries, intense physical therapy, and exhausting rehabilitation programs. Each procedure carried the exact same hope: to improve his mobility and make daily life just a little easier to manage independently.

In 2023, he traveled abroad to undergo advanced stem cell therapy, a treatment that opened new doors for his motor functions.

To secure the next crucial phase of his treatment, Stefan managed to save €10,000 on his own—emptying his personal savings. However, he was still €8,000 short of the required sum.

Faced with an overwhelming barrier, Stefan turned to the public with a deeply moving and dignified message:

"I am not looking for a miracle. I am not asking for pity. I am asking for an opportunity."
