Miroslav Can See Again: 64 Donors Help 16-Year-Old Save His Sight

64 donors raised €18,019.64 – the entire required amount for the next two surgeries of 16-year-old Miroslav.

After three operations, the family shares that Miroslav can see again. Now he faces two more interventions that must consolidate the achieved result.

A Fight for Vision That Started at Age Three

Miroslav’s story began when he was just three years old.

After numerous medical examinations and tests, doctors diagnosed him with retinal degeneration, and the family was faced with the danger of Miroslav completely losing his sight.

His parents did not give up and began searching for treatment opportunities.

After three stem cell surgeries in Turkey, the family reported significant improvement – Miroslav can see again.

To consolidate the progress made, specialists scheduled two more surgeries.

Two More Steps Toward the Future

Thanks to you, the necessary funds for the operations have already been provided, and Miroslav can continue his treatment.

After them, follow-up care with specialized medications and glasses lies ahead.

Today Miroslav is 16 years old. He loves mathematics, dreams of studying at university, and wants what every peer of his wants – to live normally and have the opportunity to choose his own future.
