From the very beginning I wanted to become a donor of Bojan without any hesitation, but we had several legislative obstacles to do so, both in Bulgaria and in Turkey, and besides, transplants with a blood connection are certainly more successful than those without a blood connection ,,which would be ours"

But after a long wandering and failure with Bojan's sisters and cousin, we turned to the famous hospital in Grenoble - France ,,where they do transplants with different blood groups, like ours with Bojan" We made all the necessary documents, tests, scanners, etc. In the beginning we were getting good news from the hospital, we had blood compatibility and there were no obstacles for donation from my side. But finally after 9/10 months of waiting the definite answer came and unfortunately it was negative because I have a rare congenital anomaly that poses a risk of complications, both for me and for the organ itself that will be awarded to Bojan. Simply put - The veins and tubules around my kidneys are positioned in a, in a particular way and Prof. Rosten refused because it was risky. Before we proceeded with this step one of Bojan's sisters refused to become her brother's donor a, the other was willing and tested herself,but unfortunately she had health problems such as kidney stones and according to both the Turkish and Bulgarian professors donation on her part would have endangered her health.
