Hello good people,

my name is Dimitar Daskalov, son, husband and happy father of two children.

My story started less than a month ago, when from a stomach ache the doctors told me the terrible news that I have cancer in my stomach, which is in the fourth stage. Unfortunately surgery cannot be performed at this stage due to the fact that 100% of my stomach is currently affected. The last three weeks have been a real nightmare for me. My days and nights pass away away from my children and in different hospitals. The hope for me came from Memorial Hospital in Turkey, where I am now.

Here, my treatment is the responsibility of prof. Serkan Kesin, who after all the tests re-confirmed the diagnosis from Bulgaria and I was prescribed triple chemotherapy. At the moment, according to the treatment protocol, I have 4 chemotherapy treatments and after them I will have a CT scan again, which will show how much the chemotherapy treatments have helped and what the follow-up treatment will be. Here at the hospital they are giving me hope that even if my battle is long and hard ... I have a chance to come back healthy to my children. To be their support, rock, friend and father. My treatment here is unfortunately cost prohibitive for me and my family though and I need your help.

My road will be long and difficult ... about 2 years according to the doctors. The funds I will need I don't know them yet because there are often unexpected expenses. After the first chemotherapy I had side effects which necessitated my hospitalization again and again expenses.

They say there is no greater happiness than doing good. I have always met good people in my life and I am thankful to God for that. Today I stand before you and asking good people to help me in my fight with this insidious disease. Help me and give me a chance to go home to my family.
