Stanimir is 11 years old with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy quadriparesis, hydrocephalus, laryngeal cyst and interventricular heart defect.

For these 11yrs every day is a struggle for him but he does not give up. Stanimir has had 14 surgeries in Bulgaria, the last 5years he has had two surgeries in Vienna, Spaising Hospital with Dr. Krebs. The child endured an 8-hour surgery on both hip joints and a total hip correction on the right. He has had mild scoliosis for 10 years, monitored and not progressive.

In May of this year he suffered a pelvic fracture, resulting in 40 days of immobilization, and with nearly another month of gentle ambulation, the scoliosis began to progress.

On 25.11.23 the child was examined by Prof. Ahmed Alanay at Ajibadem Hospital Istanbul. After several pictures and examination the doctor was of the opinion that the child needed urgent surgery within 4-5months.

The amount for the surgery is unaffordable for my family, I ask for your help. Stanimir is a fighter, he is my joy and my biggest pain. I believe he will fight again he just needs the chance to do it. His condition is life threatening and unfortunately time is very short.
