Joy has spent the last few weeks even calling the intervals between chemo treatments breaks in the hospital. After another five scans, which gave good results and showed the beneficial effects of chemotherapies that succeeded in destroying cancer cells, our and your Joy's organism is increasingly exhausted, and the eternal radiant smile is as gentle as the autumn sun ...

Sometimes that smile fades a bit too because Joy is old enough to realize how expensive treatment is and how the costs pour in like autumn leaves. She realizes very vividly that without all of your donor support, she would not have had the chance to be successfully treated and feel physically well. The course of 31 radiation treatments begins today, and the chemo treatments will not stop, but go hand in hand.

The 31 courses of radiotherapy have been paid for, their cost being 25,500 euros. The chemotherapy prescribed, which has been administered to Joy for months, is in two stages. The first stage is five daily infusions, which suck about 18,000 euros from the budget, and the second stage is a booster with an infusion that takes one day, and its cost amounts to 7,000 euros. The aggressive chemotherapy, which in turn gives great results, cannot but affect the platelets and leukocytes, and one transfusion of blood and platelets is around 1 800-2 000 euros. It is all in combination of blood tests during the day to monitor Joy's indicators.

Radost has 5 more chemotherapy appointments like this and after that there will be 6 booster treatments with combination drugs that boost the immunity of healthy cells. October is also going to be a bone strengthening therapy with L - ines proteins ( L lysine, carnitine and 20 more of these ), the therapy will be around 3000-4000 euros.

We realize how expensive the treatment is and the amount still handed over to us and pray to raise, but Ewing's Sarcoma is a severe disease with long treatment and we cannot give up. We can't spare the treatment either because it is all so important and necessary. We can only pray that there are no complications that will be painful for Joy. Complications that could also make the already expensive treatment that the lovely Joy needs more expensive.
