Flame for Plamena. One spark changes everything!

My name is Plamena Lyubenova, 35 years old teacher, mother and wife from Dimitrovgrad.

For a long time I did not find the courage to ask for help... but now I have no other choice. The truth is that I need support and that is why I am turning to all of you with this appeal.

In 2015 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), an autoimmune disease that slowly progresses and can lead to severe disability.

At first I was able to cope, but in recent years my condition has begun to noticeably worsen. Movement has become increasingly difficult, I feel weakness and stiffness in my legs, I am losing my independence and I can rarely go out alone.

Over the years, I have undergone three different therapies in Bulgaria, but despite my best efforts, the disease continues to progress.

Today, I have one real chance to stop its progression - HSCT (stem cell transplant) treatment, which takes place at the Pirogov Institute in Moscow.

The procedure involves three stages of collecting your own stem cells, a course of chemotherapy and putting them back into the body. The goal is to get the immune system to "reboot" and stop attacking my body.

I now have a scheduled appointment date of 02.03.2026, and time is limited to raise the necessary funds.

The required amount of 53,000 euros is prohibitive for me.

Therefore, I ask you with all my heart to help me stop the disease and get my strength back.
