Hello to all friends, acquaintances and strangers!🤗 On 01.11.2024 the time has come for the much awaited control imaging tests (PET Scan and MRI). In this regard we have good🙃 and bad news.☹️‼️ The good news is that the scanner did NOT show any additional разсейки‼️,the bad news however is that the professor's and therefore our expectations of a better treatment response from the therapies were not met! The results of all the chemo and radiotherapies done so far,have shown shrinkage of the primary tumor and of the metastasis in the neck ,but there is still activity in the tumor клетки☹️☹️☹️. Unfortunately the shrinkage is much less than expected. At this stage of treatment , the goal is to stop the activity of the tumor cells. We had an examination and consultation with a maxillofacial surgeon,who had to give his opinion on possible surgery. At this stage he rejected surgical intervention on the primary tumour,which is located on the nasopharynx.As to whether there will be surgery,it will be decided at a later stage.The professor has prescribed 4 more courses of chemotherapy,but a new drug will be included,as the chance of it having become resistant to the previous drugs and they not having enough effect on the tumour is quite high. The problem at the moment is that the medicine in question is not available in the whole of Turkey, so it has been ordered from abroad. Today one infusion will be made and when the medicine arrives we will come for the next course.The situation is quite changeable and dynamic,but in spite of that,Raya is feeling good and is still strong and persistent💪💪💪 The fight is not easy,but we believe the end will be good,whenever той❣️Като we have more information we will share it!
