Karistan is my son, my boy that I live with now. His father, my husband died 4 years ago. Kristian is 33 years old and graduated from the Trade High School and was a 1st year student of "Chemistry" at the Paisii Hilaeddarski University.

6 years ago he became ill with one of the most insidious diseases - multiple sclerosis. The first symptoms were pains in the back, arms, later in all limbs, eventually in the whole body. He was diagnosed in the Neurology Clinic at St. Naum's with an MRI. In the beginning we carried out treatment by buying medicines from Turkey, because there are none here. At a later stage, when his condition worsened, he was issued a 95% TELC with foreign assistance. In this case I am his assistant.

So far Christian has not responded to the medication. The disease is progressing. The stiffness is all over the body, even the eyes. Kristian cannot walk anymore, he uses a wheelchair. Kristan struggles and prays for his life every day.

We are still researching treatment facilities and collecting offers for stem cell treatment, a treatment that gives hope for improvement. We have received an offer from a Turkish hospital, but we are still waiting for offers from other hospitals.

We have not given up, so we ask you to give him a chance to continue his life and to realize his most cherished dream - to be healthy and help others afterwards. Since a lot of money is needed for his treatment abroad, I don't have the financial ability to do so. That is why we turn to you, dear donors.
