Минаха пет месеца от пътуването до Истанбул - болница Мемориал за прегледи и проверка след лечението на Георги от Линфом на Ходжкин. Георги се чувства много добре, не се е оплаквал от нищо, за което съм много щастлива. Няма вече следа от последиците на лечението. Косата му расте вече нормалн, храни се добре вече, има сили и енергия да е като останалите си връстници. Завърши учебната година с малки спънки, но успя все пак, тъй като имаше пропуски от отсъствието по време на лечението. Предстои да пътуваме на 09.09 вечерта за поредната проверка и трета реимунизация от ваксините които му поставят. Ще останем в Истанбул два дни тъй нато трябва да направим кръвни изследвания, ехогеафия на шия и коремни органи, както и прегледи при онколога и радиолога на Георги. Лекуващата лекарка д-р Тавил не желае вече толкова облъчвания за него и за това с ехограф ще го следи, но дори и най-малката разлика от предния ехограф да има, веднага ще го насочи към Пет скенер. Вече сме доста по спокойни и сме сигурни, че всичко ще бъде наред. Сърдечно сме благодарни на фондацията, дарителите и нашите близки и приятели за помощта, подкрепата и съпричастноста. Бъдете благословени ❤️🙏❤️ Five months have passed since the trip to Istanbul - Memorial Hospital for check-ups and post-treatment check-ups for George's Hodgkin's Lymphoma. George is feeling very well, he has not complained of anything, for which I am very happy. There is no longer any trace of the effects of the treatment. His hair is growing normally now, he is eating well now, he has the strength and energy to be like the rest of his peers. He finished the school year with minor setbacks, but made it anyway, as he had absenteeism lapses during treatment. We are scheduled to travel on the evening of 09.09 for another check-up and a third re-immunization from the vaccines they gave him. We will be staying in Istanbul for two days as we need to do blood tests, neck and abdominal ultrasound as well as check-ups with George's oncologist and radiologist. The attending physician, Dr. Tavil, does not want as many radiation treatments for him anymore and will monitor him for that with an ultrasound, but even if there is the slightest difference from the last ultrasound, she will refer him to a PET scanner right away. We are much more relaxed now and are sure that everything will be fine. We are sincerely grateful to the Foundation, our donors and our family and friends for their help, support and empathy.
