Raya is in remission! 💚

A little over a year ago, during a routine visit to the general practitioner, a swelling was discovered on the palate of little Raya. It turned out to be something the family didn't suspect: a very rare and aggressive tumor - rhabdomyosarcoma, found in only 3 out of 1 million children. Thus, the family urgently left for Turkey. There, the diagnosis was confirmed, and scans also showed metastases in the neck area. Urgent and difficult treatment began, but the cost of life turned out to be... unaffordable for the family of wonderful Raya!

But in this difficult moment, you were there: 5133 compassionate donors reached out, and over 175,000 euros were raised to support Raya's treatment. ✨ Today, we share long-awaited wonderful news: Imaging tests show that the tumor has no activity, and Raya is in remission!

From now on, follow-ups every 2-3 months are ahead, but today... today Raya is well, happy, and still fighting. She and her family are crying, but this time with happiness.
