Трети етап на химиотерапия и трансплантация Third stage of chemotherapy and transplantation
Марияна премина през трети етап на химиотерапия, който я подготви за процедурата по трансплантация на стволови клетки. Неин донор стана брат й, на когото също бяха извършени редица процедури по подготовка за трансплантация. Самата трансплантация бе осъществена на 04.04. и в момента Марияна се бори и е в тежкият период на възстановяване. Предстои още един задължителен курс на химиотерапия и след приключването му, ще бъдат направени изследвания дали трансплантацията е била успешна. Болничният престой в пълна изолация ще бъде продължителен, но ние се надяваме, че тя ще пребори всички трудности и лечението ще продължи успешно!

Mariana underwent a third stage of chemotherapy to prepare her for the stem cell transplant procedure. Her donor was her brother, who also underwent a number of procedures in preparation for transplantation. The transplant itself was performed on 04.04. and Mariana is currently struggling and in a difficult recovery period. There is one more mandatory course of chemotherapy to be done and once that is completed, tests will be done to see if the transplant was successful. The hospital stay in complete isolation will be long, but we are hopeful that she will overcome all the difficulties and treatment will continue successfully!
