Намерих го преди два дни пред блока ми, легнал в купчина листа. Когато се приближих, видях колко е слаб, а щом се изправи, за да ми се порадва, забелязах, че куца и че кракът му е счупен.
Въпреки немощното си състояние, Жар е любвеобилен към хора и други кучета. Изключително умен и спокоен. Породата му е немски дратхаар, а приблизителната му възраст е около 3 години.
След преглед при ветеринар и ортопед установихме, че тазобедрената кост е счупена малко над колянната става и има "плаващи" костни фрагменти. Травмата е на около 10 дни, затова е необходима спешна операция – в противен случай ще се наложи ампутация на крака.
Операцията е сложна и изисква преливане на кръв, тъй като Жар страда от анемия. Допълнително към всичко това, той е болен и от дирофилария, но се надяваме да започнем лечението ѝ след успешното възстановяване от операцията.
Необходимата сума е 2500 лв, и ще бъдем изключително благодарни, ако успеем да я съберем заедно и дадем нов шанс за живот на Жар!
I found him two days ago in front of my block, lying in a pile of leaves. When I approached, I saw how weak he was, and when he stood up to please me, I noticed that he was limping and that his leg was broken.
Despite his frail state, Jare is affectionate towards people and other dogs. He is extremely smart and calm. His breed is German Drathaar and his approximate age is about 3 years.
After examination by a vet and an orthopedic surgeon, we found that his hip bone is broken just above the knee joint and there are "floating" bone fragments. The injury is about 10 days old, so emergency surgery is needed - otherwise the leg will have to be amputated.
The operation is complicated and requires a blood transfusion as Zhar suffers from anaemia. In addition to all of this, he is also suffering from heartworm disease, but we hope to start treating this once he has successfully recovered from surgery.
The amount needed is 2500 BGN, and we would be extremely grateful if we could raise it together and give Zhar a new chance at life!
