Dear friends,

I write to you again, with hope in my heart and worry in my eyes. My mother and father are back in Adjibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital. After all the tribulations we went through, now the doctors are again trying to get to the root of her suffering.

This time, a team of specialists has taken her on and they are not stopping their search for the truth. My mother has been through various departments - gastroenterology, surgery, and now endocrinology. New tests have been ordered to determine whether her diagnosis of Crohn's Disease is completely accurate, or whether she has another, co-morbid condition, such as diabetes.

Every day is an ordeal. Doctors are administering different treatments, looking for the right combination of medications, and my mother is being fed artificial food because her body no longer has the strength to take it all on its own.

The illness gives her no rest, but she doesn't give up either.

Her battle continues - with tears, pain, but also with a huge will to live.
