A Happy Ending to the Battle: Little Daniel Successfully Underwent a Kidney Transplant

There are battles no child should ever have to fight, and trials no parent deserves. Such is the story of little Daniel, born with severe kidney failure. From his very first breath, Dani began his fight for life.

Daniel spent the first three months of his life in hospitals, including one month in intensive care. He required peritoneal dialysis six times a day and underwent multiple surgeries before even turning two. But even this wasn't enough. Daniel's only chance was a kidney transplant.

Thanks to the incredible support of 1066 donors, who collectively raised 27,985.91 EUR, this chance became reality. On June 17, 2025, Daniel has successfully undergone a kidney transplant, and both he and his father are currently recovering well.
