That is exactly the journey of Nadi and Muti Zhaafar, a brother and sister who have dedicated more than a decade to judo and to their shared dream of reaching the Olympic Games.

Two children, one goal—the Olympic tatami

Behind their achievements are years of persistence.

Nadi is already a national competitor with remarkable results—top 5 finishes at World and European Championships, dozens of medals from European Cups, and more than 130 awards from international tournaments across Europe.

Muti is following the same path—six-time national champion, four-time Balkan champion, and holder of over 150 medals, most of them gold. At a young age, he is already winning medals at European Cups and establishing himself as one of the most promising rising talents in judo.

For both of them, this is not a hobby—it is a way of life. Training sessions, camps, and competitions almost every month. And all of it requires resources.

Behind them stands their mother, Milena Zhaafar.

For years, she has carried the full financial weight—covering competitions, travel, and recovery. But as the level rises, so do the costs. International tournaments become more frequent, destinations more distant, and preparation more demanding.

At the European Cup in Ganja, Azerbaijan, Muti won a bronze medal—his second achievement at this level.
This victory is more than a result. It is proof that effort pays off—and that every bit of support turns into real progress.

“Muti has enormous potential. As long as he is healthy, we will keep moving forward,” his mother shares.
