48.45 million euros, 1,463,478 individual donations, and 631 active campaigns. This is the scale PavelAndreev.ORG has reached five years after its launch. Pavel Andreev talks about the journey from small campaigns among friends to an international donation platform on the podcast “Freedom Code ”.
It all began on a much smaller scale - small campaigns and donations among friends, along with an idea of how people's willingness to help could be transformed into a functioning system.
During the conversation, Pavel talks about the first campaigns, the people behind more than 1.46 million donations, the checks carried out when disbursing the funds raised, and the next major goal - for what has been built over the past five years to help more and more people around the world.
When Pavel begins organizing the first initiatives, he is still working in the construction sector.
The campaigns are small and take place mainly among friends and colleagues - around holidays or when a specific need arises.
Gradually, he realizes that people want to help, but they need the process to be easy and organized.
The first larger medical fundraising campaigns follow. It is their results that convince Pavel that what started as a small initiative can have a much greater impact.
“What keeps me moving forward are the success stories and the lives that have been saved.”
Five years later, the scale is completely different.
As of October 2026, 48.45 million euros have been donated through PavelAndreev.ORG in 1,463,478 individual donations, with 631 active campaigns.
Behind these numbers, however, there is no single type of person.
“There is no single donor profile.”
People with different financial means donate - from small individual amounts to significantly larger contributions.
As the number of campaigns and the amount of funds raised increase, so does the responsibility to ensure that the money reaches exactly where it is intended to go.
For medical campaigns, documents confirming the illness and the necessary treatment are checked, and campaign organizers undergo identity verification.
Additional checks are also carried out when payments are made.
When a payment for treatment needs to be transferred to a medical facility that the platform has not worked with before, the team confirms that the patient is indeed receiving treatment there and that the bank details belong to the respective medical facility.
The reason for this additional verification is entirely practical. Pavel describes cases in which bank details in documents had been replaced, creating a risk that the funds raised could be diverted.
That is why, even when a family is under time pressure, the rule remains the same:
“The process cannot be skipped.”
The goal is to ensure that the funds collected from donors reach exactly where they are intended to go.
Over the years, people in more than 150 countries have launched campaigns on PavelAndreev.ORG, while payments for treatment have been made in dozens of countries.
This gradually changes the scale of the goal as well.
At the end of the conversation, Pavel describes international expansion as one of the main areas where he is currently focusing his efforts:
“I am putting an enormous amount of work into making it possible for us to help people from all over the world very effectively.”
The next major milestone is no longer just about how much money can be raised, but how many people the system built over these five years can actually help.
