Dear Friends, Thank you for your help! With your help and funding from the NHIF, Ognian has started treatment with Lutetium 177 at the University Hospital Cologne. He will undergo a total of four treatments, the first of which took place on 18.02.2025. The next one will be on May 13, 2025. In order to maintain normal vital signs the body's kidney function, electrolytes, spinal cord, liver and PKC must be monitored. This necessitates that Ognian takes additional medications, vitamins and supplements that are prescribed to us by his treating oncologists. For now, Ognian is tolerating the therapy well. Laboratory tests are relatively good, with abnormal liver values. He continues his Sandostatin LAR injection every 28 days.
