I can hear the desperation in the unspoken! I see the resignation that is killing me! I feel my child's pain, and I am so helpless to help him 😔

For long, almost five years, my boy battled an insidious disease 😔 He grew up in hospitals, away from home, family and friends. In a foreign country. Where he found Hope🙏Where he had a Chance to live🙏But the price was too high - pain, suffering, loneliness and uncertainty for tomorrow😔

Hello dear People 💕

For more than half a year, Victor and I have been in Turkey, near the hospital, without going home even for a day. Unfortunately, our stay is expected to continue for a long time. This past week, Victor went through another (seventh) course of chemotherapy, from the new protocol he is currently on. Prior to that, a PET/CT was performed. Alas, the results are not what I pray for every God-given day. There IS still CANCER CELL ACTIVITY😔What gives the treatment team (and me) hope is that there are no new growths🙏The TREATMENT is scheduled to CONTINUE with FIVE more courses of intravenous chemotherapy + immunotherapy, with Victor taking daily oral chemo at the same time. Periodic imaging studies will be done and his condition monitored. If necessary, a change of approach, surgery or other as deemed appropriate by the treatment team will be undertaken.
