Отдавна не сме се включвали с новини за неговото състояние, но всичко се развива много бързо. В следващите редове ще се опитаме да обобщим цялата информация за състоянието му :) Божидар и семейството му прекараха 6 дни в Турция, където Божи ходи на физиотерапия. Правят му по две процедури на ден. В момента най-важното е да започне да си контролира главата, което ще е дълъг и труден процес предвид колко е голяма и тежка. Добрата новина е, че Божи се справя учудващо добре. В Турция бе извършен и пореден преглед при офталмолог. Това което той установи е , че има подобреие в очите, като успява вече да следи светлинки. Професорът се надява Божи да може да вижда поне сенки и светлини с дясното си оче, тъй като зрението на лявото е вече изубено. Направен е и неуспешен опит да се измери диоптър, но това ще се случи на един по-късен етап. Тогава ще бъдат и изписани очила за Божидар. Професорът, който следи състоянието му, е категорично против операция, затова след 3 месеца Божи ще премине през нов преглед, при който ще се проследи зрението му отново. Имаме и още една добра новина от невролога, който го проследява в турската клиника. След извършено ЕЕГ заключението е, че няма патологични промени в мозъка. Неврологично и двигателно Божи е по-добре от предния път. Неврологът предлага да бъде направена терапия със стволови клетки. Тъй като Божидар е още малък и мозъкът тепърва ще се развива, неврологът смята, че ще има резултат. Първата терапия е планирана за месец август. Ако има резултат ще бъдат направени още 3 вливания, като стойността на всяко от тях е около 10 000 евро. "Преди 2 седмици Божи си извади сам сондата и решихме да пробваме да се храни през устата. От тогава до сега има голям напредък, като вече яде каша и успява да пие от шише. Все още има доста какво да си желае. Тъй като е бил много дълго време със сонда турският педиатър и физиотерапевтите искат да отидем в Анкара, къде е най-добрият специалист по проблемни хранения и да направим изследване, което да покаже дали съществува риск да аспирира и да направи белодробна инфекция. Както виждате и вие приятели, сме изискали плащане на стойност 13 000 евро, с които ще платим 137 процедури при физиотерапевтите. Планирали сме тези процедури да му стигнат до месец ноември т.г. It's been a while since we've chimed in with an update on his condition, but everything is moving very quickly. In the next lines we will try to summarize all the information about his condition :) Bozhidar and his family spent 6 days in Turkey, where Bozhid went for physiotherapy. They did two treatments a day. At the moment the most important thing is to start controlling his head, which will be a long and difficult process considering how big and heavy it is. The good news is that Bozhi is doing surprisingly well. He also had another check-up with an ophthalmologist in Turkey. What he found is that there is improvement in his eyes, as he is now able to follow lights. The professor hopes that Bozhi will at least be able to see shadows and lights with his right eye, as the vision in his left eye is now disfigured. An unsuccessful attempt has also been made to measure a diopter, but this will happen at a later stage. At that time glasses will be prescribed for Bozidar. The professor who is monitoring his condition is strongly against surgery, so in 3 months Bozhidar will undergo a new examination where his vision will be monitored again. We have another good news from the neurologist who is following him in the Turkish clinic. After performing an EEG the conclusion is that there are no pathological changes in the brain. Neurologically and motor-wise Bozhi is better than last time. The neurologist suggests that stem cell therapy should be done. As Bozhidar is still young and the brain is yet to develop, the neurologist believes that there will be a result. The first therapy is planned for August. If there is a result, 3 more infusions will be made, the cost of each is about 10,000 euros. "Two weeks ago Bozhi took out the probe himself and we decided to try oral feeding. Since then he has made great progress, now eating porridge and managing to drink from a bottle. He still has a lot to wish for. As he has been on a probe for a very long time the Turkish paediatrician and physiotherapists want us to go to Ankara, where the best specialist in problem feedings is, and do a study to see if there is a risk of aspirating and making a lung infection. As you can see my friends, we have requested a payment of 13,000 euros which will pay for 137 treatments with the physiotherapists.
