Yesterday, April 4, 2025, little Anastasia successfully underwent her life-saving surgery! The doctors at Koç University Hospital in Istanbul assure that everything went according to plan, without complications. Anastasia is currently recovering in the intensive care unit, and her little heart is already beating stronger, healthier, and with even more hope!

Anastasia's story is touching!
When Anastasia was only three months old, doctors heard a heart murmur during a routine check-up. This turned out to be the beginning of a long wait, filled with uncertainty, fear, and anxiety. The diagnosis was not long in coming - a large atrial septal defect requiring surgery.

Her family contacted doctors in Istanbul, who gave an expert opinion that the surgery could not be delayed!

And then the most wonderful thing happened - YOU came to the rescue! You gave courage to a family!
