I am Krasimira - 38 years old woman, mother of 2 children. I have been wandering around Bulgarian hospitals for a few years because of heart problems. I have implanted 2 machines: pacemaker and loop recorder. Since one year I also get life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias, which requires implantation of a third machine - cardioverter defibrillator. I also have a problem with my heart's mitral valve, which they say will have to be replaced with an artificial one at some point. Everything in our dear country is going very slowly and all the doctors are of different opinion.

So I made the decision to go to Berlin, Germany for a check-up and consultation. I contacted a translator and a coordinator with the hospitals. For examinations by a cardiologist and electrophysiologist, as well as the necessary examinations (MRI of the heart, electrophysiological examination,echocardiogram, cardiogram, blood tests, etc., and hospital stay), I need the sum of 20-25 thousand euros. Once I have had all the tests and consultations done, the hospital will now be able to give an offer for the treatment needed.

The examinations are planned for the middle of July, by which time I hope to raise the necessary amount.
