Medical report and offer for Krissy's surgery in Greece 🏥

On 13.10.2025, Dr. Anastasios Kanellopoulos - pediatric orthopedic surgeon and head of the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics at IASO Children's Hospital (Athens, Greece), performed a pre-operative examination of Kristian Dimitrov Pacherazov.

In the report, Dr. Kanelopoulos stated that Kristian is a lively and active 2.5-year-old child with left-sided hemiparesis (left arm and leg affected) who walks independently, but with marked contractures in the left hip, knee and ankle, as well as dynamic flexion (contraction) of the left elbow joint.

After the evaluation, the doctor confirmed that Christian was a surgical candidate and could undergo the SPML (Selective Percutaneous Myofascial Lengthening) procedure, a minimally invasive method of relaxing shortened muscles and tendons.

The following interventions are planned:

Injection of ethanol blocks to the affected nerves on the left side (musculocutaneous and tibial nerves).

SPML procedure of:

Adductors (muscles approaching the thigh),

hamstring muscles (posterior thigh),

calf muscles (gastrocnemius).

After surgery, Christian will be discharged the same day, and will have a physical therapy session. He will wear a cast on his left leg for two weeks.

🔹 Along with the report, the clinic also provided an official quote for the upcoming procedure, which includes all surgical, hospital and anesthesia costs, as well as post-operative care and individual orthotics.

The total cost of the treatment is 15 750 euros.
