It is with a heavy heart that we would like to ask for your help and support.

I will briefly tell you Daria's story - well, I had an easy and uneventful pregnancy, I delivered her at 38yrs - 2,690kg, the baby passed all the tests at the hospital with flying colours.

Not long after we had to visit the doctor and there they heard a heart murmur and sent us to a cardiologist.

They did an ultrasound and gave us the news that Daria was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot.

They explained to us that Tetralogy of Fallot is a complex of 4 heart defects, in a few words Daria needs surgery to close the hole between the two chambers and remove the thickening to allow more oxygen to flow.

Daria has never shown signs of being a sick child, up until recently she held blood oxygen values of 95 to 100%. All the doctors we have consulted have said that this surgery is best done when Daria is between 6 and 12 months old. So far so good, but in early April (now 8 months old) Daria passed out 2 times in 4 days and needed emergency surgery.

The surgery was done successfully in Turkish Hospital LIV(we paid the amount for it), but alas, 2 days ago they found out that Daria had a brain hemorrhage accompanied with edema and did damage to her brain. There are examinations, scans, tests and a long rehabilitation ahead which are beyond our means and we could not have managed without your help.

We don't know how long Daria's recovery will take, but we know Daria is a warrior and will pull through!
