This is Paul - 48 years old, an explosion of adrenaline and eccentricity. His passions are snakes and motorbikes, his weaknesses his mate and their two lovely extensions, the shy Paul and the alert Eleni.

The lives of all four are turned upside down forever after a supposedly routine examination.

Paul has cancer.

A rare type of oesophageal cancer, with metastasis to his liver and lymph nodes. The diagnosis is terrifying and completely unexpected, and the prognosis is poor. Paul collapses.

Beside him, however, as if made of concrete stands Biliana. Determined that there is hope and ready to turn the world around to give it to him. This hope, however, besides being hard won, comes with a high price.

The family relies solely on each other, including financially. The sums needed for check-ups and treatment are prohibitive, and without them, a father's hope of seeing his children grow up fades.

Paul is currently in Turkey and is due to have tests and meetings with oncologists to draw up a plan of action and be given an offer.

Unfortunately, after the PET scan, Paul deteriorated and required immediate hospitalization. His condition is critical, and the additional tests and medical care that lies ahead due to this situation is exhausting the family's resources.
