My name is Dimitrina Kavrakova, 27 years old from Burgas. 8 years ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Often we don't realize how precious simple things are - to walk, to move freely, to live without pain. We take them for granted... until we lose them. Today I am in a situation where I need your help.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and progressive autoimmune disease that unfortunately has no complete cure. The disease is progressing in me and manifests itself through numbness in my legs, loss of coordination and balance, weakness in my muscles and fatigue.

I have difficulty walking, experience instability and insecurity. Despite this I continue to fight! In these 8 years I have received a Bachelor's degree and continue to study. I am currently studying for my Master's degree in Accounting and Control. In parallel, my family and I are in search of new ways and treatment options.

The only thing that can stop the disease is chemotherapy and transplantation of my own stem cells (HSCT) at the NMHC "Pirogov" hospital in Moscow.

I have sent an enquiry and have been approved for it and have a date scheduled for 21.07.2025. The amount needed for the treatment and transplant is 50.000 Euro (100.000 BGN) and must be paid a month before my departure. It is unaffordable for me and my family at this stage.
