The charity campaign for Mama Rita is successful

Let's recall the story of Rita - a mother found by the association "Kat House" a few months ago - extremely weak, sick and in advanced pregnancy.
The day after she was picked up, Rita gave birth to three kittens, just as sick as she was, who despite intensive care from the doctors failed to fight back. To date, Rita has been spayed.

It has been noticed that on two consecutive days Rita refuses food, is in pain and cannot urinate.
She was taken to the clinic as an emergency and diagnosed with pancreatitis.
X-rays and ultrasonography showed severe inflammation in the pancreatic area, which was also causing the urination problem.
Pancreatitis is an extremely painful condition and prompt and adequate management is only possible in clinical settings.
Treatment includes intravenous fluids to maintain a normal fluid and electrolyte balance, pain killers to control the severe pain, anti-inflammatory drugs and those to control vomiting and diarrhea, and the gradual introduction of food.

After a few days of intensive treatment at the Multiprofile Veterinary Clinic Bulgaria, Sofia, Rita started eating again, her pain was controlled and urination was normal.

To date:

Currently Rita is fine, she is going to have a check-up and if everything is ok, she will be looking for a home. She will only take medicated food until the doctors deem she can be stopped.

The funds raised through the platform have been disbursed to the medical facility.
