My name is Snezhina Metodieva, I am 38 years old from the town of. Unfortunately, the disease diagnosed with type 1 diabetes came when I was 4 years old. Due to the fact that I was small I could not realize the heavy burden of the disease.

My first pains came when I started school and I could not live normally. like my classmates.I could not afford to be alone .I was often hypoglycemic and I could not be with other children. My mother was always there for me , but only her. At 15 came the hypertension , from which I had a heart attack and two strokes. It was terribly hard for me to live like my peers. I had two stents put in , but it did not improve my condition .

I went blind in my left eye , all at once .The doctors struggled , but obviously could not make things better . From the high blood pressure I got kidney failure. Since 2012 the nephrologist, who to this day advises not to think , that hell time is coming for me to go on hemodialysis. Suddenly 2023 my little toe of my right foot was amputated. I collapsed totally. I hardly want to live for 7 months.

My mother was trying to improve my health but we were not succeeding. mentally I collapsed. my diseases were progressing and I could not see the point. My last hope is to get a kidney transplant so I can live a more normal life. I cannot work at the moment. The man I was living with left me , because I am an inferior woman.

The only and last chance for me is the transplant.

I really hope the Most High will be merciful and compassionate to me and my mother so we can live a little longer. I have two dogs and a cat to comfort me , they are the only ones by my side for now and give me strength and hope that there is someone to love and wait for me.

We are currently conducting research on my mother who will become my donor. But the transplant amount is very high and unaffordable for me and my mother. I live on a pension of 370 BGN, I cannot work because I am 100% disabled. The only person next to me is my mother , who lives to see me alive and God forbid healthier .I hope there are kind people who will help me so I can get a transplant.
