Hope Fulfilled: Reni Overcame the Serious Diagnosis and is Healthy!

There are moments that turn a family’s life upside down in an instant. Such a moment came for Reni, a young 23-year-old girl from the city of Haskovo. After successfully graduating from the mathematics high school and on the verge of graduating from university, her life was happy and promising. Recently, she got married and dreams of a future with her beloved.

But one day everything changed. Innocent pains in the pelvis turned out to be the beginning of a severe trial – she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, an extremely aggressive form of bone cancer. For Reni and her family began a harsh and relentless battle. Urgently, Reni went abroad for treatment, where an expensive and long-term treatment protocol was prescribed to her.

With the overwhelming support of over 3,633 donors, who raised more than 98,602.43 EUR, Reni was given a chance for salvation and the opportunity to continue her fight. Thanks to the joint efforts of hundreds of people – both through the platform and outside it – we were able to raise the necessary amount. With this invaluable support, Reni was given a chance for treatment, overcame the disease and today has the opportunity to live a full life again.

Today, with incredible joy and immense gratitude, her family announces the long-awaited news: after the latest tests from the second follow-up exam, Reni’s body shows no trace of the tumor! Her blood tests are also completely normal. Reni is healthy, she shines with happiness and believes again in her future.

As a preventive measure, Reni will continue taking oral chemotherapy, but the hardest part of the battle is already behind her.
