Hello dear friends and donors. We haven't given any information about Milenka for a few months because we were hoping things would get better. But unfortunately Milenka's condition has become more complicated and we have been struggling with various problems for a few months. She has been in the hospital in Istanbul for two months now. She had an infection, which fortunately we managed to control, but very difficult. She's been on antibiotics for a few weeks now, she's having blood problems and on top of that her vessels are already getting damaged from the dialysis. Her hemodialysis is very difficult and the doctors have decided to go on peritoneal dialysis, but for that to happen she needs to be completely cleared of infection first. Separately she has hematological problems and they did many tests including a bone marrow biopsy. Fortunately the results reassured us. At the moment the transplant cannot be done until her general condition is stabilized. Milenka is a very very fighting and obedient child, I am sure that everything will be fine soon and she will come home to Bulgaria healthy. We are appealing to you again for help as we already have debts to the hospital that we cannot cover, we have a new proforma from the hospital that we are publishing and we hope again for your support at this difficult time.
