Pavel Velikov, an 18-year-old young man diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma, has achieved remission after undergoing intensive treatment in Turkey.
Thanks to the generosity of more than 4,025 donors, the “New Life for Pavel” campaign raised the necessary 163,256.28 EUR to fund his treatment and a life-saving bone marrow transplant.
After receiving multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation therapy in Bulgaria, Pavel traveled to Turkey, where the diagnosis was confirmed and treatment began immediately.
His family – his older brother, who will be the donor, and his mother – stood by his side throughout and never stopped believing.
On May 19, 2025, it was officially announced: Pavel is in remission.
This joyful news is the result of the kindness of thousands of people, who gave new life and hope to a young man full of dreams.
Pavel’s story is an inspiration to all of us – proof that together, we can change lives.
