Hello good and kind people doing the noblest thing in this difficult and confused world! We are also here to share with you our cherished story of an extraordinary fighting person. This is Sofia Baeva - our most beloved friend, loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and granddaughter. A positive, energetic and ever-cheeky soul - Sophie is 33 years old, until recently charming the world and people with her tattoo art, paintings and illustrations. She looks after their little daughter with her loving fiancé who soon turned 5 and lives a happy, carefree, princess life.

The sad part of her life story began 4 years ago in 2020 when she was diagnosed with a malignant mammary tumor (Stage II). After subsequent treatment - chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapy, followed by surgery to remove the growths, the cancer had lost that first battle. Peace, happiness, and gratitude settled into Sophia and her family's days...until he reappeared in their lives!

In May 2023, after routine tests, they found a recurrence - in the pelvic bones, bone marrow of the spine, liver and skull (Stage IV)... This was followed by targeted (targeted) therapy for 6 months using medication - to no avail... They also found a BRCA2 mutation which showed the cancer was hereditary. In April 2024, chemotherapy was administered and after the second time, Sophia's condition deteriorated severely.

Her liver gave up, so did her kidneys, and she started retaining water in her body, becoming weak and losing energy.

She went to Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital and Nadezhda Hospital, but the doctors in Bulgaria said the worst - that they could do nothing for her. So the family decided to seek salvation in Turkey, at the renovated "Anadolu Medical Center, In affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine", where Sofia was admitted in extremely poor condition. She has been there for nearly 2 weeks and every day counts. An offer for the entire treatment is impossible to be issued at this stage because everything in her diagnosis is very dynamic. The disease is being monitored all the time and doctors are meeting in a consilium where a decision is made on how to proceed with treatment. For the time being, another chemotherapy was done, after which she entered the intensive care unit.

There is hope, but this will be her long road in the fight for healing. Unfortunately the sums involved there are prohibitive for friends and family! Today, this inspiring woman faces the biggest challenge of her life - fighting cancer. Your help and her fierce will are the only steady path to saving her young life full of dreams and hopes. Every contribution you make is a ray of light and hope for her and her family. Together we can achieve the miracle and bring back the smile on Sophia's face and the courage in her heart. Sophia began writing poetry right in the darkest days of her illness and we want to introduce you to this talent of hers as well.
