Mitko got sick with lymphoblastic leukemia for the first time at 2y 10m. There was successful treatment (thanks to you) and subsequent supportive therapy at home during the course of which, due to low platelets, the doctors discovered a second disease - acute myeloid leukemia! We began heavy chemotherapy and Mitko was successfully put into remission and is being prepared for transplant in Israel.
We arrived in Israel in April and the search for a donor began, which took a long time, but no match was found and the doctors decided to do a haploidentical transplant with his father as the donor.
In the course of waiting for the donor cells to be assimilated, haemophagocytosis occurred which could not be controlled and there are now almost no donor cells left!

Due to the risk to the child's life, who has had zero vitals for over a month now isolated in a sterile room, and the urgency of the case, a second haploidentical transplant must be done IMMEDIATELY and this time the donor will be the mother. Mitko's immunity is down to zero and he cannot function outside the sterile room.
