My name is Diana and I am a mother of 4 year old Boryana. My daughter has been diagnosed with infantile autism. The birth of my child went with complications. During contractions, doctors found that the baby was losing tones. They had to induce labor. The fetus was large /4400 g/ and they used vacuum extraction.

In the first few months of my baby's life she seemed normal - she was a very smiley baby, happy and active. The only visible problem was that she kept her little head to one side most of the time. At 10 months, I took her to the orthopedist for the first time. I was told she had torticollis. Rehabs followed and the neck curvature went away.

As time went on, I began to notice that children Boryana's age could do things she couldn't, even though we were all actively playing with the child at home, teaching her different, new things. This led me to make a consultation with a child neurologist. Other examinations, tests and consultations followed. At a year and three months, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. We started rehabs - ergo therapy, speech therapy, working with a psychologist, gymnastics, etc. Within a year and a half, Boryana was able to correct her gait and began to keep her balance.

In 2022, we had another examination with a neurologist to see the child's current condition and that's when I heard that her disease was not cerebral palsy, but infantile autism.

I couldn't believe what I was being told so we did a few more consultations with a psychologist, neurologist and psychiatrist. They confirmed that the child had autism. We changed the approach - she now attends ABA therapies, which she enjoys very much and I think motivates her to learn and progress. The main problem is in her mental development - communication is basic and needs a lot of work. After much research into possible therapies for my child, it became clear that the possibility of significant improvement in her condition could be achieved through regenerative stem cell therapy.

At Parks Hospital in Novi Sad, Serbia, this method is being applied and the results are very encouraging. The amount for the three infusions we have to make is EUR 21 600. The first treatment will take place at the end of September, and each subsequent treatment is within 30 days of the previous one.

Bori is the meaning of my life. I would like and will fight to give her everything she needs and would help her have a full life. I would be eternally grateful to every person who supported our campaign.
