What?

Thanks to your support in the Christmas mission of the Burgas association "Usmivka", nearly 750 lonely elderly people and households in need from the Burgas area were helped with a package of food, hygiene materials and household supplies. You can guess why we reminded you of this great success: let's do it again!

Mitka Georgieva and her supporters from the association are gearing up for their regular Easter action, with which they aim to make people in need in Burgas happy again. Among the recipients of their care and kindness are lonely elderly people, children from sheltered housing, women and men with mental health problems placed in institutions, as well as single mothers.

Every small donation sent to the "Smile" Association in Burgas helps and brings joy. Get involved now.

With your donation you can send a card with wishes for the elderly, which will warm their hearts.

Any food vouchers are also accepted.

When and where?

The campaign is running until 17 April.

Why?

The incomes of many of the seniors living alone in Burgas and the surrounding area do not allow them to cover even the minimal expenses that come with the holidays.

Every donation is appreciated, and the gesture of giving generates a very strong positive effect - it brings a feeling of value, makes the elderly person feel loved and gives them back the belief that they are not forgotten and abandoned.
