I'M SORRY TO ASK FOR YOUR HELP, BUT I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE....

As you know Marty has been battling a series of severe infections since October and we have been hospitalized.

The hospital happens to be our home at the moment. Late last night Marty also suffered a minor accident. He slipped in the bathroom, fell and clutched his head. He had to have his head stitched up, a scan was done and thank goodness he is ok!

Today we were informed that the result of the second bone marrow test confirmed Hemophagocytosis.

Treatment has been ordered by a haematologist who together with Prof. Funda will treat for another 7 weeks. This means that Marty will not be discharged for that much longer and we will spend the holidays, back in the hospital.

During the treatment, if the blood counts are good, the planned 3 courses of chemotherapy will also take place. Immunotherapy and oral chemo will be included during this treatment period when the team doctors deem appropriate.

Part of the treatment is also frequent, separate single infusions of chemotherapy that will treat both diseases simultaneously. Immunoglobulins, corticosteroids, kidney medications and other necessary will continue to be administered and increased.

🆘🆘🆘 The amount, to manage this condition and the planned cancer treatment, amounts to about 95,000 euros.🆘

We are currently waiting for the hospital's offer, but we don't have time to wait !!!The available funds are running out and we are in a quandary!

To this end, I appeal once again to you people with big hearts to help and support us in our battle, with my struggling child!

Hopefully next Christmas, Marty will be completely healthy and we will be home with family!
