"Please help us to save the life of our baby Vassi!"

He is only 1 year and 6 months old - a sunny child who is now fighting for what is most precious - his life. Instead of taking his first steps and uttering his first words, he spends his days in a hospital room surrounded by machines and medication.

It all started a month ago when we noticed strange bruising and swelling on his little body. No parent is prepared for the news the doctors gave us: acute myeloid leukemia.

He was admitted as an emergency to the Prof. Dr. Stoyan Kirkovich University Hospital and then transported by ambulance to the St. George University Hospital in Plovdiv, in the pediatric hematology department. The treatment he has to undergo is chemotherapy, which is extremely difficult and exhausting for such a young child, but it is his only chance to live.

We did a consultation in Turkey, the specialists said that specialized treatment is necessary and should start immediately. Treatment with chemotherapy, and then to perform a bone marrow transplant, which could save Vassy's life- Unfortunately, the amount for this treatment is unaffordable for our family. Without your help, we will not be able to give our child this chance to get well!
