Миналата седмица Нори беше на преглед в клиниката в Истанбул, където отново ѝ бяха направени най-обстойни изследвания. Те показаха, че изкривяването прогресира. От 63 е нараснало на 73 градуса. След консултация с професор Ахмет Аланай, той препоръча операция от хибриден тип.
Това е най-добрата алтернатива в нейния случай, а крайният резултат се очаква да е отличен, с над 90 % изправяне на кривините в гръбначния стълб и запазване подвижността на гръбнака.
Доверието и надеждата за пълно оздравяане, които ни вдъхна професорът, върна усмивката на лицето на Нори и разсея донякъде страховете ни.
Операцията се планира за септември месец.

Last week Nori had a checkup at the clinic in Istanbul, where she again had the most thorough tests. They showed that the distortion is progressing. It had increased from 63 to 73 degrees. After consultation with Professor Ahmet Alanay, he recommended a hybrid type operation.
This was the best alternative in her case, and the final outcome was expected to be excellent, with over 90% straightening of the curvatures in the spine and preservation of spinal mobility.
The confidence and hope for a full recovery that the professor instilled in us brought a smile back to Nori's face and allayed our fears somewhat.
The surgery is scheduled for September.
