Здравейте скъпи дарители.Бих искала да ви дам актуална информация за текущата ситуация. След първата химио- и имунотерапия на 30 януари майка ми трябваше да бъде хоспитализирана поради усложнения. Оказа се, че е развила пневмония и остра белодробна емболия - и двете са животозастрашаващи състояния за човек с нейната диагноза.Тя трябваше да остане в болницата една седмица, за да бъде стабилизирана и след като беше освободена, й беше назначено лечение с антибиотици и поддържащ кислород за подпомагане на дишането.Трябваше да отидем на консултация преди втората инфузия, но за съжаление тя трябваше да бъде повторно хоспитализирана на 19-ти, тъй като не се чувстваше добре. Оказа се, че най-вероятно е развила сепсис, което е усложнение от самата пневмония и за да се стабилизира дишането й, на 21 февруари е преместена в Интензивно отделение, където се лекува в момента. Цената на лечението в интензивното отделение е още по-висока и само за 4 дни имаме сметка от 13 000 евро.
Hello dear donors.I would like to update you on the current situation. After the first chemo and immunotherapy on January 30, my mother had to be hospitalized due to complications. It turned out that she had developed pneumonia and an acute pulmonary embolism, both life threatening conditions for someone with her diagnosis.She had to stay in the hospital for a week to be stabilized and once she was released she was prescribed antibiotics and maintenance oxygen to help her breathing.We had to go for a consultation before the second infusion but unfortunately she had to be re-hospitalized on the 19th as she was not feeling well. It turned out that she had most likely developed sepsis, which is a complication of the pneumonia itself, and in order to stabilize her breathing, she was moved to the ICU on February 21, where she is currently being treated. The cost of treatment in the ICU is even higher and in just 4 days we have a bill of 13,000 euros.
