Ирен е на 2 години и 6 месеца. Много усмихнато и лъчезарно дете.
От януари месец е с болки в десния крак. След консултация с ортопеди се постави диагноза „Реактивен артрит“. Предписаха й лечение с болкоуспокояващи лекарства. Седмица по-късно болките се засилиха и Ирен беше хоспитализирана в УМБАЛ „Стоян Киркович“ в Детско отделение, град Стара Загора. След направените кръвни изследвания, ехограф и скенер, лекарите откриха хемангиоми в черния дроб. След 20 дни престой в болницата, лекарите ни изпратиха за консултация с детски ревматолог в град София. След прегледа се уточни, че диагнозата не е „Ревматоиден атртит“. След ново ехографско изследване се отрече наличие на хемангиоми в черния дроб. Насочиха ни за консултация с детски онкохематолог, който се усъмни за тумор на надбъбречната жлеза. В Пирогов, 2 дни по-късно, след направено ново ехографско изследване и скенер, се потвържди, че е туморно образувание – 6 см.
Но поради ниските тромбоцити на Ирен не е възможно да се направи биопсия. Пренасочени сме в Детска онкохематология в ИСУЛ за 2 курса химиотерапия с цел намаляване на тумора и евентуално да се планува операция за отстраняването му.
.По всички получени резултати до този момент, лекарите решиха, че диагнозата е „Невробластом на надбъбречната жлеза“.
Беше извършена и костно мозъчна пункция и резултата е, че детенцето ни има метастази в костния мозък. Тази новина тотални ни съсипа и шокира. По обясненията на лекарите, типа на невробластома е високорисков.
Направихме консултация с турска клиника, оттам казаха, че спешно трябва да започнем лечението на Ирен. Но сумата е непосилна за нашето семейство. За това ви моля от сърце, помогнете детенцето ни да оздравее. Дори само споделянето на поста е от значение за нас да достигне до повече хора.
С всеки изминал ден усмивката на Ирен изчезва! Няма го блясъка в очите й! Замина си желанието за пакости, весели и безгрижни игри! Бяха изместени от болка и безсилие!
Ние вярваме, че отново ще видим блясъка в очите на нашето дете и топлата усмивка! Тя пак ще ходи на ясла, там където е мястото й! Тази агония ще бъде забравена и всичко ще остане само лош спомен!

Let's bring back Irene's smile!
Irene is 2 years and 6 months old. Very smiley and radiant child.
Since January she has had pain in her right leg. After a consultation with orthopedists she was diagnosed with "Reactive arthritis". She was prescribed pain medication. A week later, the pain intensified and Irene was hospitalized at the Children's Ward of the Stoyan Kirkovic University Hospital in Stara Zagora. After blood tests, ultrasound and scanner, doctors found hemangiomas in her liver. After 20 days of stay in the hospital, the doctors sent us for consultation with a pediatric rheumatologist in Sofia. After the examination, it was clarified that the diagnosis was not "Rheumatoid Atritis". After a new ultrasound examination, the presence of hemangiomas in the liver was denied. We were referred for a consultation with a paediatric oncohaematologist who was doubtful of an adrenal tumour. At Pirogov, 2 days later, after a new ultrasound and scan, it was confirmed to be a tumor mass - 6 cm.
But due to Irene's low platelets it was not possible to do a biopsy. We have been referred to Children's Oncohematology at ISUL for 2 courses of chemotherapy to reduce the tumour and possibly plan surgery to remove it.
.By all the results obtained so far, the doctors have decided that the diagnosis is "Neuroblastoma of the adrenal gland".
A bone marrow puncture was also done and the result was that our little boy had metastasis to the bone marrow. This news totally devastated and shocked us. As explained by the doctors, the type of neuroblastoma is high risk.
We made a consultation with a Turkish clinic, and they said that we should urgently start Irene's treatment. But the amount is unaffordable for our family. For this I ask you from the bottom of my heart, help our child to get well. Even just sharing the post is important for us to reach more people.
Irene's smile is disappearing every day! Gone is the sparkle in her eyes! Gone is the desire for mischief, fun and carefree games! They have been replaced by pain and frustration!
We believe we will see the sparkle in our child's eyes and warm smile again! She will go to the nursery again, where she belongs! This agony will be forgotten and all that will remain is a bad memory!
