Историята на Петя: Петя Димова (53 год.) е диагностицирана с множествена склероза (МС) през 2015 год. Досега се е лекувала с няколко достъпни в България, модифициращи хода на болестта, лекарства, но за съжаление заболяването продължава да прогресира.
През ноември 2023 год. Петя преминава през лечение АHSCT – трансплантация на стволови клетки в институт Пирогов, Москва. Методът представлява „рестартиране“ на имунната система посредством агресивна химиотерапия и трансплантация на собствени стволови клетки. Целта на това лечение е да спре влошаването на състоянието и.
