my name is Maria Grozdanova 32 years old from Pleven.

I have been diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis (spinal curvature) since I was 16 years old.

After I found out about it I and my family made the necessary efforts to stop the progress of the curvature (physisotherapy, massages), but without success.

I consulted an orthopedic doctor and he gave the chances after surgery 50% to 50%. To hear this about your child if lying on the operating table is not very encouraging and my parents disagreed.

Years went by and I met the man I decided I would share my life with and it wasn't long before our first child arrived. Successfully worn and born, but after that the pain in my back and lower back started to become more and more intense and unbearable.

Four years after that our second son was born.

And I decided that I had to be strong and fight and be able to raise my children, secure in myself and my abilities.

So I had to consult a doctor who specializes in orthopedics and traumatology about my problem.

I was diagnosed with a 65° curvature on the right and 45° on the left, as well as increasing pain. Because of its presence, the pain in my back and low back and the possibility of the curvature progressing, surgical intervention was required.
