In Bulgaria, they want to discharge Nikolai, even though his condition is not compatible with life without constant medical supervision, and no hospital will accept him. We had no other choice and turned to Turkey for treatment. We did a consultation there and the doctors were adamant - under no circumstances should he remain without hospital observation. Nikolai urgently needs systematic care, specialized rehabilitation, constant follow-up by a team of specialists and new up-to-date imaging tests. But time does not wait - at any moment he could be discharged from intensive care and we don't know what we will do. For the treatment in Turkey, a sum of 140,000 euros is needed, which is unaffordable for our family.
