Здравейте скъпи дарители, аз съм майката на Ивон. Тя е едно 8 годишно дете, лъчезарно и добро. Усмивката винаги огрява лицето й!
На 1 година когато разбрахме,че има забавено двигателно развитие, започнахме да посещаваме различни специалисти и през 2017г. ни поставиха диагноза Детска церебрална парализа-долна спастична парапареза. През цялото време провеждахме ежедневни рехабилитации, които и се отразяваха добре,но не бяха достатъчни, затова след консултация през 2018г. и 2019г. направихме две Фибротомии от които имаше значително подобрение и Ивон започна да прави първите си самостоятелни крачки.(Тогава всички вярвахме в чудеса…)
С времето мускулите и започнаха да отслабват и да губи постигнатите резултати и след преглед от невролог беше установено, че има Аксонална сензо-моторна полиневропатия.(Тогава станахме реалисти и започнахме да се борим с фактите!) До 2022г крачетата и силно се изкривиха и направихме консултации с различни ортопеди в България и отговора им беше, че е невъзможна ортопедична корекция (…и по страшни неща.) Тогава се обърнахме към д-р Александър Кребс в Ортопедична болница „Шпайзинг” във Виена, който се съгласи да извърши операцията.
Операцията беше повече от успешна и Ивон отново може да стъпва на краката си и да ходи с наша помощ. Тази година след контролен преглед при д-р Кребс разбрахме, че тазобедрените стави са започнали да излизат и трябва да се направи операция на двете тазобедрени стави едновременно, след която Ивон ще бъде с гипсова шина в областта на таза и краката 6 седмици!
След операцията ще бъде нужна усилена рехабилитация. Желаем да продължим лечението на Ивон в Ортопедична болница „Шпайзинг”във Виена , където ще получи грижите които заслужава!

At the age of 1 when we found out that she has delayed motor development, we started to visit different specialists and in 2017 we were diagnosed with cerebral palsy-lower spastic paraparesis. All the time we had daily rehabilitation, which was good for her, but not enough, so after a consultation in 2018 and 2019 we did two Fibrotomies from which there was a significant improvement and Yvonne began to take her first independent steps.(Then we all believed in miracles...)
Over time her muscles started to weaken and she started to lose the results she had achieved and after an examination by a neurologist it was found that she had Axonal Sensorimotor Polyneuropathy.(That's when we became realistic and started to fight the facts!) By 2022, her feet were severely bowed and we consulted with various orthopedists in Bulgaria and their response was that orthopedic correction was impossible (...and scarier things.) We then turned to Dr. Alexander Krebs at the Spiesing Orthopedic Hospital in Vienna who agreed to perform the surgery.
The operation was more than successful and Yvonne can stand on her feet and walk again with our help. This year, after a follow-up examination with Dr. Krebs, we found out that the hip joints had started to come out and surgery had to be done on both hip joints at the same time, after which Yvonne will be in a hip and leg cast for 6 weeks!
After the surgery, intensive rehabilitation will be needed. We would like to continue Yvonne's treatment at the Orthopedic Hospital "Speising" in Vienna , where she will receive the care she deserves!
