It all started with inflamed veins on the leg. 😪
An exam with one doctor... then a second - they said no thrombus. But the leg still hurt. We went to a third. There they found that there was a thrombus and it had gone up the leg. They prescribed 10 injections in the abdomen.

After the fifth injection... 😔 his whole body turned yellow - skin, eyes, everything.
The GP immediately sent us to the Infectious Disease hospital. There they tested him for hepatitis - negative. They issued a referral for hospital admission.

At MMA they refused to admit him - the doctor was not there.
We went to Tokuda. There he was admitted to gastroenterology. They said that he had a problem with bile and they would put a plastic stent. An X-ray followed, two biopsies...

Diagnosis: pancreatic cancer with dissections in the liver.
They performed the manipulations and discharged him. For 7 days we paid nearly 2200 BGN.

Two days later:
He started vomiting, was confused, could not get up. At the check-up they said everything was fine and the stent was in place. We paid another 100 BGN for an anti-vomiting system. And so we went home...

In the meantime we asked for a second opinion in Turkey.
They scheduled an examination for 24.06. His sister drove him. They did new tests there and the doctors were shocked. They asked if he had fallen into a coma on the way - patients with such values are usually in a coma...

There they immediately took out the plastic stand from Tokuda and put a drain to drain the accumulated poison. They normalised the sodium and bilirubin values.

On Sunday, however, he developed a bacterial infection.
His temperature reached 40°C. They took him down to intensive care.
The amount provided for the start of chemotherapy went for the manipulations.
We had to look for an ambulance and bring him back to Bulgaria.

And here - a new problem:
Nobody wanted to admit him to hospital. "You should have stayed in Turkey..." 😪
We dropped him off at home, with all the drains, at 4:30 in the morning... Nowhere would admit us.

The next day, with the help of some good people, we took him to the ER at Alexandrovska Hospital.
He is currently in intensive care. We are fighting the bacterial infection.

The doctors from Turkey are waiting for him - there they will apply target therapy, which affects only the diseased organs.
They said his body is strong and he can start as soon as he fights the infection.

So... the little bandit and I pray every night. 🙏🙏🙏
