My little Mert fighting for life ❤️

Friends,
I am Mert's father. I write with a heart that breaks every day as I watch my son fight to stay alive.

Mert was born on August 25, 2019 and from his first breath his life has been a battle. At three years old, I gave him my kidney. Then, part of his liver. I thought the pain would be over, but now I stand by his bedside again and see his kidney giving out. He is about to have a third transplant - this time his grandfather will donate an organ.

My child is living thanks to expensive infusions of humane albumin. Hour by hour I hope he makes it to surgery. The hospital, the procedures, the medications - it's all prohibitive for us.

Please, as a father who only wants to keep his child alive: help. Every penny, every share is a chance for Mert to grow up, to run and laugh like any other child. If there are any funds left over, we will donate them to other families going through the hell we are.

Today, the only thing that keeps me going is the hope that there will be people with big hearts. Thank you to everyone who will stand with us. ❤️
