Казвам се Ирина Стефанова Комфорт, на 59 години. През 2023 г. ми бе поставена диагноза рак на маточната шийка. Проведоха ми лъче- и химиотерапия, но без операция, която впоследствие се оказа решаваща за лечението ми.
През август 2024 г. получих силни болки в корема. След спешен преглед в „Пирогов“ се наложи операция и поставяне на стома с надеждата, че червото ще бъде възстановено след няколко месеца. За съжаление, състоянието ми се влоши – болките станаха нетърпими, а изпускането – постоянно.
След нови изследвания се установи, че ракът се е завърнал, вече обхванал и част от пикочния мехур. Наложително е спешно да се премахнат матката, яйчниците и част от пикочния мехур, преди да може да се възстанови червото.
Операцията е животоспасяваща – без нея, бъдещето ми е под въпрос! Самата интервенция е покрита от Здравната каса, но са нужни външни консумативи (маркучи, платна и др.) на стойност около 6000 лв., които са непосилни за мен.
С цялото си сърце моля за помощ – всеки лев е надежда. Всеки, който има възможност да ми подаде ръка, ми дава шанс за живот.

My name is Irina Stefanova Comfort, 59 years old. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2023. I was given radiation and chemotherapy, but no surgery, which later proved to be crucial to my treatment.
In August 2024, I developed severe abdominal pain. After an emergency examination at Pirogov, surgery and stoma placement was necessary in the hope that the bowel would be restored in a few months. Unfortunately, my condition worsened - the pain became intolerable and the discharge constant.
After new tests it was found that the cancer had returned, now covering part of my bladder. It was urgent to remove the uterus, ovaries and part of the bladder before the bowel could be reconstructed.
The operation is life saving - without it, my future is in doubt! The intervention itself is covered by the Health Insurance Fund, but external consumables (hoses, tapes, etc) are needed at a cost of about £6000, which is prohibitive for me.
With all my heart I ask for help - every lev is hope. Everyone who has the opportunity to lend a hand gives me a chance for life.
