След дълго чакане най-после имаме резултатите от контролите образи на Радост. Те не са най-добрите и все още сме много объркани, но няма как да не споделим с всички вас какво се случва към момента.
До момента както знаете Радост премина през 14 цикъла на много тежка химиотерапия, която включваше пет дневни вливки плюс бустерна вливка на всеки девети ден, а отделно премина и 32 курса на лъчетерапия. Резултатите от цялото лечение, което до момента е около една година и струва около 750 000 лева са обнадеждаващи, но се оказва, че пътят до края на лечението ще е по-дълъг отколкото смятахме.
Към момента хубавите новини са, че в таза няма активност, както и в белите дробове и рамото. Лошите са, че находките в гръбнака проявяват активност. Като обобщение резултат от лечението има, пътят е правилния, но победата на Радост над рака не е близо. Тя трябва да продължи с химиотерапия и да се включи отново лъчетерапия, която ще бъде обсъдена в Понеделник каква точно ще бъде.
Пътят наистина е труден за едно дете. After a long wait we finally have the results of the Joy control images. They're not the best and we're still very confused, but we can't help but share with you all what's going on at the moment.
So far, as you know, Radost has gone through 14 cycles of very heavy chemotherapy, which included five daily infusions plus a booster infusion every ninth day, and separately she has also had 32 courses of radiotherapy. The results of all the treatment, which has so far taken about a year and cost about 750,000 leva, are encouraging, but it turns out that the road to the end of treatment will be longer than we thought.
The good news at the moment is that there is no activity in the pelvis, as well as in the lungs and shoulder. The bad news is that the findings in the spine are showing activity. In summary the treatment result is there, the path is right, but Joy's victory over cancer is not near. She needs to continue with chemotherapy and to include radiation again, which will be discussed on Monday exactly what that will be.
The road is indeed a difficult one for a child. It is expensive, as I said only so far the amount for the treatment is approximately 750000 leva and per month the treatment amounts to about 25000 euro as you can see from the payment that we share with you in the attached pictures. At the moment, we have the funds for the treatment for perhaps about two months, and that is without including the radiotherapy, which we do not yet know what it will be and at what cost. We know that you never stop supporting Joy and are always with her. Let us continue to do so in the future. She needs all of us.
