I write to you with trembling hands and a heart gripped with fear because every second counts to me.

My name is Tatiana Ruseva, I am 41 years old, from the city of Burgas. I am a mother of two wonderful children - my sunshine and my strength. They are the reason I open my eyes every morning and fight tooth and nail for my life. I want to live. I want to be by their side. I want to hug them for many years to come.

In the summer of 2023, my world came crashing down - I was diagnosed with breast cancer with multiple metastases to my lymph system and bones. I was told there was nothing more to be done... but I didn't give up. I started treatment in Turkey where the doctors took me in with hope and a plan. After multiple chemo and radiation treatments I went into remission. Alas, briefly... The cancer came back again. More aggressive. Faster. Scarier.

TOMORROW MORNING, I HAVE AN EMERGENCY SURGERY - MASTECTOMY WITH RECONSTRUCTION. It's a tough and crucial step in my treatment, but it's also just the beginning - new chemo treatments, additional tests, scans, exams... And all these procedures are extremely expensive. The funds are already exhausted.

Up to this point, we've fought tooth and nail on our own, with every last penny and drop of strength. But we can no longer do it alone. We have no time. Every day is a chance. Every day is hope.
